Cemcrete | The Language of Texture

The Language of Texture is an intimate, invite-only evening of conversation, material exploration, and hands-on creativity at Cemcrete’s Parktown North showroom.

The event explores texture beyond visual decoration, looking at how materiality, craft and tactile experiences influence the way we perceive and remember spaces. The evening features a panel discussion with Graeme Labe, managing partner and chief design officer at Luxury Frontiers, and Maira Koutsoudakis, founder and CEO of LIFE Group of Companies, moderated by Jarred Potgieter, senior architectural designer at Luxury Frontiers. Together, they will explore their approaches to materiality, texture, and the role of touch in shaping memorable spaces.

Guests will also be invited to experiment with Cemcrete materials through an interactive Terrazzo activation, creating their own custom colour and aggregate combinations. The samples will be polished after the event and returned to guests as a tangible memento of the evening.
