HAN in Collaboration with Aftersune — Unconditional

To love and be loved unconditionally is to experience imperfection.

Is love a structure we build to contain what cannot be held? And what remains when what we have built can no longer sustain us?

HAN’s latest ceramic collection is exhibited alongside a visual editorial by Aftersune for Cape Town Design Week. Beginning with pieces created for a wedding, ‘Unconditional’ considers structures formed through countless small acts; in clay, in nature, and in our relationships. Even the structures we build to last are subject to change.

The exhibition runs for the duration of Design Week and will be accompanied by a window installation, a selection of shell forms, adornments, and prints.
