UManyano Lwe Jazz presents Inherited Frequencies

ACTIVATION

Inherited Frequencies is a one-day cultural gathering UManyano Lwe Jazz (ULJ) with yourfriendofjazz and hosted at Lit.Culture at Breezeblock. Moving across music, design, memory and inheritance, the programme brings together a conversation on designing a music festival, a participatory vinyl listening session, and the ULJ Pinterest Board — a visual archive tracing five years of the festival’s evolving visual culture and its journey toward ROOTED (ƒ) ’26.

At its heart, Inherited Frequencies challenges conventional ideas of what design is, opening up a conversation about the relationship between sound, visual identity, brand, space, curation and audience experience and how all of these choices come together to shape the feeling and cultural meaning for gathering.

UManyano Lwe Jazz is an independent cultural institution, festival platform and creative gathering rooted in a shared love of music, community and cultural exchange. Lit.Culture is a space for books, art, music and ideas, providing the setting for these different forms of cultural practice to meet.
