Kaizen: The Workshop in Progress
The Workshop In Progress is a temporary cultural space by Kaizen that brings the brand’s philosophy of continuous improvement to life through fashion, craft, repair, music and community. It invites people to participate, connect and understand that nothing is finished — everything is still becoming.
Programme:
13:00 — Doors Open
13:00 – 15:30 — Open Workshop & Experience
Guests are welcomed into the space and invited to explore and interact with the experience, including the mending and Sashiko station, music and dyeing station. Guests can engage with the people, craft and products behind Kaizen.
The Kaizen shop will also be open, with a curated selection of stock available for purchase. All sales will operate on a cashless basis.
15:35 – 16:05 — Panel Discussion
A conversation around Kaizen, the creative process, trusting the vision, embracing the journey and the tenacity required to keep moving forward.
16:05 – 16:25 — Tap Dance & Musical Performance
A live tap dance and musical performance marking the transition into the afternoon programme.
16:25 – 18:30 — Music & Open Workshop
Siya will be the selector for the day from 16:25–18:30, providing the musical direction for the remainder of the activation.
The space remains open for continued interaction, shopping, mending and engagement with the experience. The mending station remains active throughout.
18:30 onwards — Listening Bar & Night Experience
Following the activation, guests are welcome to remain at the venue and continue the evening at the listening bar, which transitions into a night-time social space.

Friday, 9 October. Doors open at 12:00pm, and the activation ends at 18:30. After the activation people are welcome to stay over for the rest of the night since Sumthing Sumthing is a listening bar that people love to come to on Friday After work and nights.
