ACTIVATION
SALABIM brings its world of weighted pyramids and handbags to The Loading Bay in De Waterkant. The Cape Town design house reimagines humble, useful objects as collectible design pieces. This activation presents the collection in one space — sculptural weighted pyramids made from reclaimed handwoven Peruvian textiles, Karoo mohair and ostrich shin leather, alongside the pyramid handbag collection launched at RMB Latitudes.
Each piece is one of one. Handwoven cloth never repeats, so every crop is unique and every pyramid handbag carries a laser-engraved serial number.
The full collection will be available to view and purchase from 19 to 24 October.
