Sealand x FabrikHunter Customisation Workshop

Offcuts in. Originals out. This Design Week, Sealand and FabrikHunter invite you to go fabric hunting.

Head to FabrikHunter at 44 Stanley, just a stone’s throw from the Sealand store, and bring whatever needs some love: a tired backpack, a favourite denim jacket, a tote that’s seen better days. Dig through a stash of FabrikHunter and Sealand fabrics, patches and offcuts, then let the team help you patch, stitch and rework it into something nobody else has.

Both the Sealand store and FabrikHunter will have great deals and a wide range of products on offer, and anything you pick up can be personalised on the spot.

And if you’d rather start from scratch, pop into our 44 Stanley Sealand store for our One-of-One station, running in both Johannesburg and Cape Town throughout Design Week. We’ve taken our Zeplin crossbody apart, panel by panel, and handed the pieces to you. With a little help from our in-store team, you choose the material and colour for every part of the bag, from the front panel to the flap to the strap. Your design is then handmade by our makers in Cape Town, so the bag that comes back to you is yours and only yours. No two will ever be the same.
