Sealand x Vintage With Love: Design Workshop

For Design Week South Africa, Sealand and Vintage with Love are coming together for a hands-on celebration of circular design, creativity and giving materials another life.

Welcome to the Design Bar, a pop-up mending and customisation workshop hosted at Vintage with Love Cape Town.

Guests bring along their own bag or well-loved piece, or pick up something from Sealand or Vintage with Love on the day, and make it theirs. They will choose from a selection of pre-loved Vintage with Love and Sealand fabrics, patches and offcuts, and with guidance from the team, learn simple techniques for patching, mending and reworking textiles while creating something completely unique.

This workshop is where two worlds of conscious design meet: Sealand’s thoughtfully made gear and Vintage with Love’s belief that beautiful things deserve another chapter.

Bring it or find it. Patch it with purpose. Leave with something one-of-a-kind.
