STUDIO W. PROJECTS

Cape Town creative office, Studio W. Projects, presents an open studio that brings together four elements:

– Project walls presenting Kalahari Dunes, the forthcoming Simola Hillclimb 20-year publication, and the proposed MIRROR MIRROR museum exhibition
– WHEN, Nikki Wilsworth’s exhibition of poetry as literary objects in brass and print
– A new ArtLab wallpaper collaboration combining large-format scanning and wallpaper printing techniques to explore dimensional texture
– The launch of a functional prototype chair designed for compact spaces

Through mood boards, materials and finished works, visitors are invited behind the scenes to see how ideas move into physical form. Together, the projects demonstrate the knowledge, partnerships, technology and craftsmanship behind the work — and the relationship between creative thinking, production and delivery.

The studio is free to attend and will be open throughout the weekend for informal viewing and conversation.
