The MAAK × The Otto Foundation — Inside the Dream Library: A Guided Tour
ACTIVATION
Step inside the newly completed Dream Library at Dryden Street Primary School in Salt River, designed by architects The MAAK in partnership with The Otto Foundation for Dryden Street Primary.
Developed in collaboration with the school’s learners, the project asks: what changes when the people who use a building help design it?
Join the architects for an hour-long guided tour, tracing the project process from the learners’ first ideas to the finished space, followed by an informal Q&A.
The MAAK is an award-winning architecture studio based in Cape Town, co-founded by Ashleigh Killa and Max Melvill. Specialising in social-impact architecture, the studio works with schools, communities, organisations and funders to deliver public projects that respond to the people they serve.
Arrive from 11:00 for an 11:15 start. Limited capacity, so please RSVP.
