Where Textiles Tell Stories — An Immersive Experience by Somila Tshazibane

Luxury textile and design brand, Omvli Studio, invites guests to Where Textiles Tell Stores — an immersive textile installation showcasing the journey of their hand-printed textiles from concept to finished design.

The installation — on show from 23 to 25 October — features textile artworks and limited-edition products, alongside behind-the-scenes elements that highlight craftsmanship, sustainability, and contemporary African design.

Opening Night
23 October: 17:00-20:00
Includes an interactive component where visitors can engage with the hand-printing process and discover the value of slow-made production.

After Party
24 October
A more intimate extension of the main exhibition experience. A curated selection of pieces from the installation would be displayed within the space, allowing guests to encounter the work in a relaxed social environment following the main Design Week programme.
