WAX Lyrical is a contemporary design brand specialising in designer, interactive candles that merge sculptural form with narrative and sensory experience. Rooted in a fine art practice, each piece is conceptually driven and crafted to invite participation, reflection, and emotional engagement. Influenced by Bauhaus principles and Ndebele art aesthetics, the work balances geometric clarity with expressive pattern and colour. The brand explores the intersection of object and audience, transforming the act of lighting a candle into a moment of connection, ritual, and storytelling. Through considered materiality and refined aesthetics, WAX Lyrical positions candles as both functional objects and expressive design artefacts.
