Bree Street Closure Every Sunday

​Join us for a new openstreetscapetown inspired open streets activation on Sunday from 10:00 – 17:00 along Bree Street, including Shortmarket St, where Capetonians are invited to reclaim public space and reimagine a safer, more pedestrian-friendly city.

This initiative is supported by the Mayor’s office and is not classified as an event – it’s part of a new approach to using tools to create safer streets through temporary installations and hands-on activities to see what works and what doesn’t.
