Join us for the official 2025 Felabration in South Africa – A Felabration with Kujenga and Friends – a licensed event honouring the revolutionary legacy of Afrobeat pioneer Fela Aníkúlápó Kuti.
The Lineup
Experience some of the best music the continent has to offer – Afrobeat, jazz, funk, kwaito and more.
Kujenga: The acclaimed Cape Town jazz collective, kick off their EP tour here. This will be the official release party for their new EP, Common Ground.
Operation Khataza: Witness the mesmerising eight-piece band whose unique sound blends genres like Zamrock, South African jazz, kwaito, soukous and Highlife.
Fela Kuti Tribute Band: A 10-piece band composed of diverse local musicians, bringing Fela’s music to life and capturing its powerful, unapologetic spirit.
Kolade Arogundade: The former owner of The Drawing Room brings his curated vinyl sets for a deep dive into Afrofunk and some of Fela’s lesser known work.
CandyFlip (The Commons): Sharing selections rooted in the spirit of community, unity and collective joy.
Authentic African food will be on sale, so come hungry.
