The Activation
Curated by Tandekile Mkize for Africa Textile Talks 2025, Threads of Renewal II will unfold at The Library of Things We Forgot to Remember, a sonic archive of African cultural memory curated by Kudzanai Chiurai. The exhibition draws focus on two interconnected themes: Memory & Ancestry and Healing & Resistance. Alongside the exhibition, Twyg presents a programme of talks that reflect these themes.
