The Activation
Join Pulp Paperworks on Saturday 11 October from 10am for the launch of two new publications: Mavu, a zine by Pamina Sebastião, and Transit(o) by Victoria Marques. Both works are the outcome of Pulp’s latest internship, a collaboration with Editora Tamoda, a new Luandan studio.
Mavu extends the research of Mundo Mávu into print form, weaving together fragments of text, image, and myth to explore absence, memory, and transmutation. Transit(o) combines photography, text, and memory to reflect on migration, belonging, and the city, drawing from seven years of lived experience across São Paulo, Luanda, and Johannesburg.
