Mapendo Legacy – “mapendo” meaning “love” in Swahili – is a philanthropic and art-driven initiative born from Fuata Moyo’s commitment to use creativity as a force for change. Founded on the belief that art heals, empowers, and connects, Mapendo Legacy invests in learning, mentorship, and creative skill development to uplift communities and nurture future generations of artists and makers.
Through curated designs, workshops, and fundraising art events, the initiative will channel creativity into tangible impact. Supporting individuals in need of economic opportunity, knowledge, and inspiration.
Every item of the Mapendo Collection tells a story of compassion and continuity, where artistry becomes a language of care, and love becomes a legacy.
Mapendo Legacy is not only about giving back; it is about building forward, and creating cycles of empowerment that extend beyond the canvas, the garment, or the studio, into the lives and dreams of those who dare to create.
